If you are thinking of sending us a paper you may prefer to send through a synopsis first so that we can confirm that the subject matter is suitable for TEC.
In terms of sending through papers, we prefer a simple Word document, with illustrations, tables etc supplied as separate files rather than embedded in the text.
We proof all papers to the author before publication. Ideal length is in the region of 3,000-4,000 words, and subjects which have an element of practical application are preferred because our core readership is made up of practising traffic engineers.
If we are able to accept your paper we would normally be able to publish within three to four months.
